Dear Parents and Guardians,

As the school year draws to a close, I want to share important information about the Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (Summer EBT) program, which provides a $120 benefit per eligible child to assist families in purchasing nutritious food during the summer.

Program Overview:

  • Benefit Amount: $120 per eligible child.

• Purpose: To ensure children receive adequate nutrition during the summer break.

Eligibility and Application Process:

• Automatic Eligibility: Families currently participating in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) may automatically receive the Summer EBT benefit. They will receive a letter stating they will receive the benefit and do not need to apply.

• Application Required: Families not automatically enrolled are encouraged to apply to determine their eligibility. To apply or check eligibility status, families should visit the DHS website at ar.gov/summerebt. The website provides detailed instructions and the necessary forms to complete the application process.

Summer EBT Call Center is open on May 1, 2025.  1-833-316-2421

***If a student received benefits last summer, the funds will be put on last year’s card. If you no longer have that card, call EBT Line 1-800-997-9999 for a replacement card***

Thank you!
