State and federal guidelines require that all special education due process forms and records be destroyed six years after a student leaves the special education program.
If you have a child who received services from the Highland School District Special Education Department during the 2019-2020 school year, you have the right to review and pick up your child’s due process records. They will be available at the
Highland School District Administration Office,
1627 Hwy 62/412, Highland or you can call (870) 856-3275.
Records not picked up by July 17, 2026, will be destroyed.
THESE RECORDS ARE NOT YOUR CHILD’S PERMANENT SCHOOL RECORDS.
THEY ARE ONLY SPECIAL EDUCATION DUE PROCESS FORMS AND RECORDS.
