There will be a baseball parent meeting on Tuesday, February 25 at 5:30 pm in the Judge King indoor facility at the Ash Flat Ballpark. This meeting is for parents of students in grades 7-12 who are interested in playing on the jr. or sr. baseball teams through the school.

There will be a softball parent meeting on Tuesday, February 25 at 5:00 pm in the A. L. Hutson Memorial Center. This meeting is for parents of students in grades 7-12 who are interested in playing on the jr. or sr. softball teams through the school.

What's happening this weekend? The ArkMo League PeeWee Basketball Tournaments will be in town! There will be games all day in both the High School and A.L. Hutson Gyms. Admission will be: Adults- $4; Students $3; Under 5 - Free. No passes

The Boys and Girls Track Parent Meeting will be Tuesday, Feb 25 at 4:30pm in high school cafe.

Reminder: Tomorrow is Presidents’ Day and there will be no school at Highland.

Highland Theatre announces audition dates for the spring musical:    Calamity at Parched Gulley: Who Shot Chappy Lee? Monday, February 10 & Tuesday, February 11 after school in the choir room No prepared materials needed; no previous stage experience needed. Auditions are open to all HHS students!

HMS STEM Night has been cancelled. The ACT Test on Saturday at the high school will still take place. Be there no later than 7:45 with picture ID and ACT ticket already printed out.

School closing: Due to a high number of illnesses Highland School District will have AMI Days 2, 3, & 4 Wednesday, February 5 - Friday, February 7. Students should complete work labeled AMI Days 2-4 in their AMI day packet.

Make plans to attend Highland Middle School's STEM Night! This is always a fun-filled event, great for all ages. The event will take place Thursday, February 6 in the halls of Highland Middle School. Doors open at 5 pm and the event ends at 6:30 pm.

The boys basketball games scheduled for tomorrow night have been canceled.

Reminder: Our Public Facilities Meeting is tonight at the beginning of the board meeting at 6 pm in the administration building. We would love for you to attend!

There will be no tutoring after school today at CES and HMS.

The booster club is meeting tonight at 6pm in the hospitality room of the A. L. Hutson. Everyone is welcome to join them!

Reminder- Highland School District will be closed on Monday, January 20 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. School will resume on Tuesday, January 21.

Due to inclement weather Highland School District will have AMI Day 1 today, January 17, 2020. Students should complete work labeled AMI Day 1 in their AMI day packet.

There will be a meeting for parents of seniors on Tuesday, January 21 at 6 pm in the hospitality room of the A. L. Hutson.

The 2020 trap season will begin soon. Students, grades 6-12 in the Highland area, who are interested in trap shooting, come join us. We are having two sign-up meetings: Sunday, 1/12/20, 4 pm at the Highland High School Cafeteria and Thursday, 1/16/20, 6 pm at the Highland High School Cafeteria. Students wishing to participate must attend one of the meetings WITH A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN. Participation fee is $100, per shooter. Please come to the meeting prepared to pay. Shooters must complete Hunter Education by 2/1/20. We can assist you with information at the meeting. Please share this message.
