
There will be a meeting for parents of seniors on Tuesday, January 21 at 6 pm in the hospitality room of the A. L. Hutson.

The 2020 trap season will begin soon. Students, grades 6-12 in the Highland area, who are interested in trap shooting, come join us. We are having two sign-up meetings: Sunday, 1/12/20, 4 pm at the Highland High School Cafeteria and Thursday, 1/16/20, 6 pm at the Highland High School Cafeteria.
Students wishing to participate must attend one of the meetings WITH A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN.
Participation fee is $100, per shooter. Please come to the meeting prepared to pay.
Shooters must complete Hunter Education by 2/1/20. We can assist you with information at the meeting.

There is a booster club meeting today at 6 pm at the A L Hutson. There is no tutoring for middle or elementary schools this week.

Don't forget the FREE Christmas Choir Concert at 6 pm in the HS gym tonight! Several students will be in the Hardy Christmas Parade tomorrow at 11 am. The Highland Rebel Band Christmas Concert is Sunday at 2:30 pm in the A. L. Hutson. Bring a canned donation item for admission.

It had excellent reviews! If you missed Highland Theatre’s production “It’s a Wonderful Life” last night, you still have a chance to catch it today! Showings will be at 2:30 and 7:00 today at Highland Assembly at 33 Meadowbrook in Highland.

CES is celebrating kindness tomorrow with a "Caps Off to Kindness" day. Students are encouraged to bring a cap/hat if they have one.


Kick-off your holiday season by listening to the Highland Jazz Band at the annual Christmas in the Village tree lighting ceremony TONIGHT in Cherokee Village's town center! The event begins at 5:00 and our band takes the stage at 5:30. Santa will be there to visit with kids too!

Reminder: We will not have school Wednesday-Friday for Thanksgiving break. Monday and Tuesday school will be in session regular hours.

After-school tutoring has been canceled for all Highland Schools -CES, HMS, and HHS. HMS will NOT have Beta after school today either.

Highland Middle School invites our local veterans to join them for donuts and coffee at 8:00 AM in the library Monday. There will be a quick assembly in the gym immediately following.
