Testing for grades 3 & 4 is tomorrow! Teachers kicked off the testing season with a pep rally! They stressed the importance of getting enough sleep, eating a healthy breakfast and being on time!
The Highland School District was given information about the possibility of a threat at the high school. With the help of law enforcement including the Sharp County Sheriff's Office, the situation and information was thoroughly investigated. It was determined that no threat was present. The safety of our students is a top priority at Highland, and any threat will always be taken seriously and handled appropriately.
Reminder: The Highland School District WILL have school tomorrow February, 19 to replace the snow day taken in January. We look forward to seeing all of our students tomorrow!
